Since the company was founded in 2015, we at LegionellaDossier have strived to be the best at everything we do, whether it’s creating new products, establishing a positive company culture or providing services to our clients. We are based in Utrecht, and currently consist of a close-knit team of 40 professionals, and we expect to triple in size in the upcoming year.

LegionellaDossier is a dynamic and innovative software company that has achieved significant growth in the water safety market. With a team of dedicated Account Executives driving end-to-end sales, we are now seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead and elevate our sales team to new heights.


As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our sales operations in the UK and Netherlands. Your role will include, but is not limited to:

  1. Leadership and Team Development:
    • Provide effective leadership to our team of Account Executives.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
    • Implement strategies for talent acquisition, onboarding, and continuous training.
  2. Sales Strategy and Programs:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
    • Design and implement various sales programs tailored to the unique needs of our market.
    • Innovate and iterate on sales approaches, keeping the team ahead of industry trends.
  3. Sales Funnel Management:
    • Demonstrate a full understanding of the sales funnel and implement strategies to optimize each stage.
    • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure effective management of their respective pipelines.
    • Develop and refine processes to improve the efficiency of the sales funnel.
  4. KPI Determination and Measurement:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team and individual Account Executives.
    • Implement tracking and reporting mechanisms to measure and analyze performance against KPIs.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Sequencing and Sales Automation:
    • Leverage your experience to set up effective sequencing strategies.
    • Implement and optimize sales automation tools to streamline processes and increase productivity.
    • Ensure seamless integration of sequencing into the overall sales strategy.

Job requirements

  • Based in the Netherlands (office in Utrecht)
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within sales, preferably in software/SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of sales funnel dynamics and the ability to implement strategies for improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales programs.
  • Experience in determining and measuring KPIs for sales teams.
  • Proficient in setting up sequencing and utilizing sales automation tools.
  • Saas industry experience is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Methodical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
